The Ministry of Health is working very hard with stakeholders to retain the doctors and nurses in Fiji.
Health spokesperson Iliesa Tora said this issue was highlighted after the interim Health Minister Dr Neil Sharma visited the hospitals in the Western Division over the weekend.
Meanwhile, the Ministry is also looking at negotiating with doctors from India and the Philippines to be contracted in hospitals like Rakiraki, Navua, Lautoka, Rakiraki, Tavua and Ba.
