A study is now being undertaken to see whether there is a need for all the positions that the Land Ministry currently has.
This had been confirmed by Ministry Permanent Secretary Maria Matavewa who said they are now concentrating on restructuring positions within the Ministry according to the directive given by the Public Service Commission (PSC) to reduce civil service costs by 50%.
