The Ministry of Education will be monitoring the school roll at Lami High School and other schools around the country.

This is after the Education Minister issued a warning to Lami High School yesterday that it will be closed if the school roll does not improve soon.

According to the Education Ministry, Bole expressed disappointment and was angry at the lax attitude of parents and the school stakeholders in enrolling their students late.

He said he thinks that he will have to cancel the grant and close the school.

Bole said not only the students are late in enrollment but the classes have not seriously started and this is a waste of time and resources.

Bole visited schools in Navua today.
