The Transport Ministry will look at submissions from the Fiji Taxi Union before making a decision whether to grant taxi fare increase.
Yesterday Taxi Union General Secretary Rishi Ram highlighted that following the price hike of fuel, LPG and increase in prices of other spare parts, there is a need for an increase in taxi fares.
However, Spokesperson for Transport Ministry Sainiana Waqanabete said the Minister responsible will make a decision accordingly.
