Residents in Raiwaqa have raised concerns over the opening and closing hours of their neighborhood Health Centre.
Roshni Pal, who stays near the Centre, said there has been no fixed opening and closing times for the past two months with a lot of people waiting to be seen.
Meanwhile, Health Ministry Spokesperson Iliesa Tora said that this should not be the practice and will be carrying out an investigation into the matter.
Raiwaqa Health centre was one of three centres chosen to open for extended hours from 6am to 10pm on weekdays and 8am to 4pm on weekends, to decrease the number of people being treated at the CWM Hospital Outpatient Unit.
The other two centres with extended hours are Makoi and Valelevu.
