The Education Ministry will now investigate the incident where a Class one student of a Primary School in Nakasi received serious injuries to one of his eye when a class 6 student threw a stick at him.
Education Minister Filipe Bole said that he has heard reports of the incident but is waiting for a briefing from the school.
Assistant Police Spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita said the incident happened on Thursday and the student remains admitted at the CWM hospital.
