Labour Ministry officials will today investigate the reasons behind 62 employees of Taunovo Bay Resort walking off their jobs on Friday.
The staffs claim they have not been paid since November 15th last year and according to some of those on strike, some of the employees at the Resort have been given $40 last week to cover their expenses.
The Labour Minister Filipe Bole said the 62 employees are not supposed to be on strike as the Ministry has not been officially informed of their grievances.
Bole said his officials will investigate the matter.
No comments could be obtained from the Management of Taunovo Bay resort.
