The Interim Education Minister has promised a number of secondary schools in the western division that the ministry will help provide them with what they need to improve their academic performance.

Filipe Bole said the main objective of their trip was to identify the needs of the schools. He said the Ministry will be providing computers, science equipment, text books and library resources to schools before the end of term one, however, he could not ascertain the total cost as yet.

Meanwhile, Bole, while speaking to teachers and students during his three day western tour, encouraged them to work towards improved exam results. He told the teachers and students that he wants to see an improved academic performance by the end of the year.
