The Education Ministry is still accessing damages at Votualevu Public School before decisions are made to assist.

Yesterday Divisional Education Officer Western Naren Prasad toured the school.

He refused to make any comment when approached.

The Education Ministry is expected to reveal soon what needed assistance is expected to be provided.

Classes have resumed in Votualevu Public School and Lautoka Muslim Primary school, which were both damaged by fires last week.

Education ministry last week promised to provide over $200,000 worth of assistance to the Lautoka Muslim Primary school for reconstruction of classrooms, office and purchasing of furniture and other stationery which were destroyed last Tuesday.
