Ministry organises Christmas on the Park
Interim Minister for Social Welfare Adi Laufitu Malani said that the event is for everyone and is a time for giving and being with family and friends.
The event is to include plays, carol singing, dramas, skits, reflections and much more.
Following this, on Christmas Day after lunch the Ministry is organizing a volleyball competition comprising of teams like the Wheel Barrow Boys Team, the Shoe Shine Boys Team, the Ark of Hope Team, the Rescue Mission team and Walu Bay Police Casual Workers team.
Meanwhile, a day before Christmas Assistant Police Spokesperson Corporal Josaia Weicavu is urging members of the public to walk away from trouble this festive season.
Weicavu also said this is a time to enjoy and honor each other's achievements for the year and not to bring back the bad memories that will only bring disaster to the family.
