The Ministry of Works will be asking for more funds in the upcoming national budget, to help solve the water disruptions that have been faced in the last couple of months.
Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said the tour of the different reseivours by the Minister Timoci Natuva during the last couple of weeks, has resulted in the Ministry asking for more money.
Waqainabete adds one of the main key areas the Ministry will be looking at, is to replace all the outdated equipment at the reseirvoirs, which for some dates back more than twenty years.
