The Health Ministry has raised concern on the number of scabies cases in Fiji.
Ministry Spokesperson Iliesa Tora said scabies cases are more prevalent in children between the ages of two to eight years.
Tora said the ministry is working on programmes for parents so that they can keep a watch on their children adding that most cases of scabies are from the rural areas.
He adds that parents should ensure a clean environment for their children.
