The Transport Ministry has revealed that the Edinburgh Drive in Suva is now closed as a precautionary measure due to the current weather condition.
Ministry spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said there is a likelihood of landslides along Edinburgh Drive and that is the main reason for the closure of the road.
The Kings Road is also closed to all traffic.
Waqainabete said they have received reports that a number of power lines have fallen on the roads and debris has collected on both the Queens and Kings Highway.
