The Health Ministry has again started to utilize Hotels for workshops despite a directive that was issued by former interim Health Minister Dr. Jona Senilagakali.
Last year Dr. Jona issued a directive for all workshops to be held at the Health headquarters in Suva to save costs and occupy the empty spaces.
It had been confirmed that all senior health officials are attending a 2 day Cooperate Plan Workshop at the Tradewinds Convention Center.
Interim Health Minister Dr. Jiko Luveni confirmed from Philippines this morning that she is not aware of any workshop being held however she added this may have been a sponsored workshop.
Comments could not be obtained from any senior health officials as they are participating in the workshop.
