The Ministry of Education will wait for their own investigation into the leakage of the Fiji Junior Examination papers to complete before deciding on what action to take.

Interim Minister for Education Filipe Bole said officials are conducting investigations at the schools of the students who were identified to have bought the papers.

Bole said once the officials establish if more students bought copies of the papers, then a decision will be made on what action has to be taken.

Meanwhile, police have interviewed and released eight students of Suva and Navua for allegedly buying the leaked Fiji Junior papers.

Police are also trying to establish how many students photocopied the papers after borrowing them from their friends who bought the papers.

Meanwhile, Iliesa Vakadranu who has pleaded guilty to stealing three FJC papers will be sentenced by the Suva Magistrates Court on the 17th of this month.

The three papers that were leaked are the Maths, Basic Science and English papers.
