With the need to increase the performance in the agriculture sector being the main focus for the interim government, the Ministry of Agriculture is putting in a number of measures to step up rice production and revitalize the beef industry in Fiji.
Interim Minister Joketani Cokanasiga had revealed that they have secured US$ 250,000 to pump into the rice industry.
Cokanasiga also revealed that they are trying to revive the beef cattle schemes while also carrying out tests to improve milk production in Fiji.
