The Social Welfare Ministry is relooking at the Family Assistance Program.
Director Ilisapeci Rokotunidau told Fijivillage, that the ministries officials are having a three day workshop at the Qarase house on how far they have gone on the programmes they are suppose to implement.
She said they may also terminate some family assistance which they think are not needed.
The government has set aside $18 million for family assistance and ministry is currently assisting over 25,000 people around the country as majority are from the Central and Northern Division.
