The Health Ministry is calling on people to assist them in controlling the dengue fever outbreak.
Chief Health Inspector Dr.Waisale Delai said dengue mosquitoes are domestic breeders and people should also destroy all mosquito breeding places in their homes.
He added spraying campaign to kill dengue mosquitoes is well underway.
Hospitals and Health Centres have reported over 840 dengue cases.
