The Director of Civil Aviation Ministry Akuila Waradi said they are still waiting for a response from the Air Fiji management after one of their planes hit the Sun Air Office in Matei, Taveuni after it failed to stop after landing earlier this month.
Waradi added that the government is taking this incident seriously.
He added the interim government will ensure the safety of passengers travelling in aircrafts.
Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji had received an interim report from the Air Fiji management on this matter and CEO, Netava Waqa said they are going through the report however he refused to reveal any details.
Waqa said discussions are underway on what happened and how to prevent such incidents in the future.
Air Fiji Chief Executive Sialeni Vuetaki is yet to make any comments.
