The Interim Commerce Minister toured the Ranjit Garment factory today to gauge the problems garment factories face on a daily basis.
Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said following last month's TCF workshop, he learnt from various manufacturers the challenges faced in trying to compete with countries who offer cheap labour such as Bangladesh.
Sayed-Khaiyum said they are looking at ways to provide assistance for the manufacturing industry.
