A minibus operator has cried foul over the new fuel prices saying he was cheated by a service station this morning.
Eastern Minibus Operator secretary, Jerry Singh said that this morning, he re-fueled at a Service Station in Nausori and was told that they were not able to change the fuel meters.
However, when Fijivillage News called the service station to question in Nausori, the staff said that they had changed the price at 5 this morning since they had to wait for the technician.
The Price and Incomes Board yesterday revealed that the retail prices of kerosene and pre-mix outboard fuel, which are determined on percentage mark-up basis are expected to increase to the stated amounts as and when retailers replenish their stock after today.
