A US based call center operators Mindpearl Limited is awaiting approval on certain tax issues from the interim cabinet before it can sign the deal to start construction of its building at the Kalabu Tax free zone.
Fiji Trade and Investment Bureau (FTIB) Chairman Francis Narayan said they expect cabinet to give the final seal of approval next week.
Mindpearl earlier stated that they intend to hire around 3000 people starting from May 1st to work at their call center.
