The task just got tougher for the Hurricanes.
Positive notes were few as they lost 52‑10 to the Brumbies in Canberra last Friday.
But if there was one player who put in a performance worthy of his reputation, it was probably fullback Nehe Milner‑Skudder.
Sadly, he will now miss the Hurricane's clash with the Highlanders tonight to an injury sustained against the Brumbies.
James Marshall will now run at fullback with Jason Woodward coming onto the bench.
The Hurricanes will meet the Highlanders at 6.35pm today.
In other matches, the Lions will take on the Chiefs at 4.15pm while the Reds will take on the Force at 8.40pm.
Meanwhile the Crusaders beat the Blues 28-13 while the Brumbies beat the Waratahs 32-15 last night.
