Hurricanes wing Nehe Milner‑Skudder will miss the rest of the Super Rugby season because of injury.
The Hurricanes have confirmed that Milner‑Skudder needs surgery on the shoulder he dislocated playing against the Blues last weekend.
This also means that he will miss the All Blacks' series against Wales in June.
Captain Dane Coles will make his first appearance of the Super Rugby season against the Western Force on Friday night.
Coles has been named to start at hooker after missing the opening three weeks of the season due to a minor hamstring.
The Hurricanes will play the Western Force at 6.35pm Friday.
