A solution has been reached between the Fiji Bus Operators Association, stakeholders and the interim government however details of the solution will not be revealed as the Interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum will meet with Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama before revealing what has been decided.

The meeting lasted over three hours and the Fiji Bus Operators Association when contacted said they will comment once the official announcement is made.

Meanwhile, Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority chief executive officer Jitoko Tikolevu told Fijivillage that four to five million dollars in revenue is lost annually through the assistance provided to the bus operators.
