Douglas Miller who was one the recipient of a scholarship to attend Iowa Central Community College has helped his school team to overall 5th place at the US Junior College National Swimming Championships.
Miller made two A finals during the meet which is 200 Freestyle and 200 Breastroke and setting new personal best times in all of his events, including an impressive lead off swim in the final event of the Championships, the 400 Freestyle Relay.
He is among a group of student athletes from Papua New Guinea, Fiji and Federated States of Micronesia who are representing the College in Swimming, Athletics and Basketball under the scholarship programme.
