Rewa Rice Limited has today confirmed that a breakdown in its mill has caused some problems in the supplying of rice to supermarkets Fiji wide.
Chairman Hari Pal Singh said the matter has been rectified and normal supply to supermarkets should normalize soon.
However, Singh said they only have limited supply of rice which will sustain the demand for only a short time.
Meanwhile, Flour Mills of Fiji Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Punja confirmed yesterday that supply of rice to all parts of Fiji will normalize by Wednesday.
