The Military Council will not make any decision on the termination of National 15s coach Ilivasi Tabua's contract.
Government spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Neumi Leweni said the Military Council met last week Friday, they have received Ilivasi Tabua's letter of concern, but the final decision rests with the FRU Board.
Leweni added that the Council is not in a position to reinstate him as coach and will respect the decision by the FRU Board.
It is understood that Tabua had written to the Council seeking an investigation regarding his termination saying that the move is a personal issue, stating it is a way for Acting CEO Keni Dakuidreketi to get back at him.
Digicel Fiji Sevens coach Iliesa Tanivula, former national rep Ifereimi Tawake and Naitasiri coach Talatala Joji Rinkama are being tipped for the top job.
