The Interim Prime Minister and Army Commander, Commodore Frank Bainimarama has stressed that those who are trying to say that the military is split should think twice as the unity in the RFMF is solid as a rock.

As police continue investigations into the plan to assassinate the Interim Prime Minister, some members of the RFMF and members of the interim government, Commodore Bainimarama said those who want to destabilise the country will always fail as the military does not want to return to the events of 1987, the 2000 coup and mutiny.

In an exclusive interview with Village News, Bainimarama said he knows that a number of people are still targeting him as the military has continued to fight against discriminatory policies and racism.
