The Citizens Constitutional Forum's Executive Director, Reverend Akuila Yabaki who said the military is showing favoritism to Francis Kean by giving full pay to a person who has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Yabaki said by giving Francis Kean full pay is an abuse of tax payers money and Fiji citizens do not deserve such misuse of national monies.
He adds that this will send the wrong messages to the younger soldiers.
Military Spokesperson, Lt Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga had earlier confirmed that Kean would still be the Navy Commander and receive his pay while the appeal process is on going.
