The Military has today denounced the statements made by Pacific Centre for Public Integrity Director, Angie Heffernan to the Australian media that the RFMF is split.
Military spokesperson, Lt Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said the military is a force which is united as one and it will achieve its objectives set out after the December 5th takeover.
Lt Colonel Tikoitoga said Heffernan is only looking for donor funds by making these statements and people who want to hear that type of information will definitely take her side.
Angie Heffernan has told the Australian Associated Press that the support from within the Military has been bought.
Heffernan said that the Military Commander has been offering positions of higher rank to Officers that sympathize with him and sack those that are against his policies.
Heffernan also added that many in the Military are not happy with what is happening since when threats of a split arise, Commodore Bainimarama moves people away.
