All senior military officers stand behind the Interim Prime Minister and Commander of the Fiji Military Forces, Commodore Frank Bainimarama, to ensure that the security of the nation is not threatened when he leaves for New York tomorrow.

Army spokesman, Lt Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said the support for Commodore Bainimarama is intact and the military council will ensure that the security of the nation is paramount.

Meanwhile, Interim Minister for Foreign Affairs Ratu Epeli Nailatikau is likely to be appointed the Acting Interim Prime Minister when Commodore Frank Bainimarama leaves for New York tomorrow.
