The military will not interfere in the nurse’s strike and will just work with the police to ensure that peace is maintained in the country.
It has been confirmed that the RFMF is now conducting routine checks around Fiji.
RFMF spokesperson Major Neumi Leweni said they are assessing the law and order situation in the country after the nurses went on strike at midnight last night.
Major Leweni refused to make any further comments.
