The Fiji Military Forces will be a conducting a platoon exercise at the Balenabelo exercise area which is located to the north of Sigatoka.
Military spokesperson Major Neumi Leweni said the live firing exercise will be conducted between 7.00pm to 11.00pm today and tomorrow and people are advised not to be alarmed.
Major Leweni said the exercise will feature platoon maneuvers and the firing of platoon weapons.
