Military Supports Violence Against Women March
Centre Co-ordinator, Shameema Ali said the Military's strong handed action in the past speaks for itself.
She also adds that they should try and right the wrongs they have done before going public and supporting the UN International Day of Human Rights today.
Meanwhile, Military spokesperson, Major Neumi Leweni said the Crisis Center has no say in what the military does.
The march is expected to begin from the Suva Flea market at 9am to Sukuna Park where Interim Defence Minister, Ratu Epeli Ganilau will be the chief guest. This march has been organised by the Department of Women.
Then there is another march today. The NGO Coalition on Human Rights and supporters will conduct their march at 12pm today through the streets of Suva in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the United Declarations on Human Rights.
The March will start at the Suva Flea Market and end at Ratu Sukuna Park where people will be given an opportunity to speak.
