The Fiji Military Forces has always been responsible for ensuring the security and stability of the nation.
Military spokesperson, Major Neumi Leweni said any Government should realize that the military is responsible for its security.
Meanwhile ousted Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase said RFMF should have no role in the political Government of the day.
He said it was time that the Supreme Court determined the role of the military as the draft People's Charter may allow the military to expand its operations.
