About seven Methodist ministers are currently meeting with the leaders of the church at the Centenary Church in Suva ahead of their meeting with the interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama this afternoon.

Present at the meeting are church President, Reverend Laisiasa Ratabacaca, Reverend Tuikilakila Waqairatu and Reverand Manasa Lasaro.

The significant meeting is expected to take place at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks this afternoon when the Methodist Church of Fiji ministers meet with Commodore Bainimarama.

When contacted this morning, the president of the Methodist Church of Fiji, Reverend Laisiasa Ratabacaca said he is unsure who called the meeting and he couldn’t confirm whether he would attend this afternoon's meeting.

Reliable sources confirm that some of the Methodist ministers had requested an audience with the Interim Prime Minister to hear from him on his plans to move the nation forward.
