The Methodist Church of Fiji will not come forward to assist the Ministry of Health in this time of crisis.
While the Ministry of Health has asked various church organisations, NGOs and retired nurses to assist them, Methodist Church president, Reverand Laisiasa Ratabacaca said the interim government should just resolve the problem.
When questioned on whether members of the Methodist Church will be allowed to assist in hospitals, Rev Ratabacaca said they will not interfere and the interim government should be responsible for the current situation.
