The Methodist Church authorities believes that by the end of October, the church should be able to reach their $600,000 target from the SOLI collected.

Acting General Secretary Reverend Tevita Nawadra said money is still pouring in from the 321 circuits of the church, including the churches from Australia and America.

Nawadra did not disclose a figure as to how much SOLI has been collected so far.

Meanwhile, Nawadra said although the annual church conference was cancelled in August, church members became very close by praying together.

Nawadra said the members did not hesitate, they gave their SOLI whole heartedly.
