The Methodist Church of Fiji have set aside time for discussions on the December 5th takeover and the " People's Charter for Change and Progress" at the Methodist Conference which will be held in Naduri, Macuata.

Village News has received the agenda for the 2007 meeting in Macuata, where the church elders have given permission to church circuit representatives to give their views on what they think about the people's charter that has been put together by the interim government.

The other big issue that will be discussed in the meeting this year is the appointment of a church minister to serve the victims of HIV/Aids.

The Methodist Church Youth Ministry will also be discussing the possibility of a Ministry of Health official to work closely with them to speak to members about HIV Aids.

Meanwhile, the 2007 choir competition will end tonight at Furnival Park and so far close to $2 million 28 thousands have been collected.
