There are some important issues which need to be discussed by the Methodist Church ministers on a proposed meeting next month.

Acting general secretary, Reverend Tevita Nawadra said a permit application will be made first before they meet.

Rev Nawadra said issues will include the retirement of ministers who have reached the age of 70.

Another issue is the transfer of church ministers to their various circuits and the ordination of ministers.

A meeting is scheduled for the 15th to the 18th of September.

Meanwhile earlier this month the government made a decision that all the church ministers meetings including the SOLEVU and choir competition of the annual conference is cancelled.
