The issue of applying for a permit is on the agenda of the Methodist Church as they await the upcoming meeting with the Commissioner of Police Commodore Esala Teleni.

Acting General Secretary for the Church, Reverend Tevita Nawadra said the Standing Committee will want to meet to discuss church programmes for the whole year, however the go ahead will only be given by Commodore Teleni.

Meanwhile Rev Nawadra and other ministers are waiting for the Police Commissioner to meet with them to discuss the issue raised by Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama that some Methodist Church Ministers names appeared on the Police Department payroll on 2006 who were allegedly providing information on the RFMF to the Qarase government.
