The Methodist Church of Fiji has raised close to $400 thousand dollars in the past 3 days of the choir competition in Furnival park.

Assistant General Secretary, Reverand Tui Waqairatu said the church is confident it will collect more than a $1 million dollar at the end of the week before the meeting will start on the 25th.

Waqairatu added that with the increase number of more than 500 choirs taking part there should reach the $1 million mark before Thursday. Today is rest day in the choir competition.

Meanwhile, the Church has called on its members to continue working with the Police in keeping law and order in the country.
