Taxi drivers are still having their taxi meters calibrated however the deadline was 14th February.
Owner of Safeway Electronics Tauz Khan confirmsed by 5pm yesterday his company had calibrated over 2,450 taxi meters.
These taxis were from the Suva/Nausori corridor, Sigatoka, Nadi and Lautoka.
He said there are over 4,500 taxis running in metered zones.
Khan added it is unclear how many taxi meters are yet to be adjusted.
He added that when the Land Transport Authority catches taxi drivers whose meters have not been changed, then they rush to get their taxi meters calibrated.
