All Blacks flanker Liam Messam nearly fainted when he led the haka against England at Twickenham yesterday.
With nearly 80,000 fans singing “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot” in unison, the All Blacks Kapa O Panga version of the haka was drowned out like never before and Messam admits that he nearly paid the price for it.
But Messam and the All Blacks had the final say as they continued their push for a perfect season with a dramatic 30-22 win.
Meanwhile, the Springboks hammered Scotland 28 nil in their test match this morning.
In the international test matches this weekend, the Flying Fijians face Romania, Wales meets Tonga, Scotland host Australia, Argentina takes on Italy while New Zealand meet Ireland next Monday.
