Former Director of the Fiji Institute of Technology, Kolinio Meo today asked for more time so that he could seek legal representation.
He appeared before Magistrate Aruna Prasad and his case has been adjourned to 3rd April.
Meo has been charged with one count of abuse of office.
It is believed that from the 12th until the 17th of December 2005 Meo allegedly took sick leave and recuperated at the Raffles Tradewinds in Lami and the bill amounting to over $726.63 dollars is alleged to have been footed by FIT.
