As the Vodafone Fiji 7s team gets ready to face USA in the Medal quarterfinals of the Singapore 7s, Coach Gareth Baber says at this stage it’s mental more than anything.

Baber told the AFP that players can have the abilities and strategies but when the pressure comes on and the fatigue starts to kick in then they have to mentally push their way through and still deliver.

Fiji has again produced breathtaking display of running rugby and remains on course to sweep the Asian leg of the World Series.

Fiji has scored 17 tries in their three Pool A wins where the side hammered Hong Kong 40-nil, defeated Russia 38-7 and later thumped Canada 35-7.

Fiji will meet USA at 4.30pm today in the first quarterfinal.

In other quarters, Australia will take on South Africa, New Zealand will meet Canada while England will face Kenya.

The medal semifinals will start at 9.10 tonight while the medal final will be played at 12.30am tomorrow.
