The Fiji men’s triples team stands a very good chance of making the playoffs at the World Bowls Championship in New Zealand.

Samuela Tuikiligama, Curtis Mar and Keshwa Goundar have so far won four games beating Jersey 20-12, Norfolk 12-11, Spain 26-10 and Argentina 18-11 while they lost only one match to Ireland 9-12.

They have six more games left and two more wins will seal their place in the playoffs.

Meanwhile Fiji women's fours team is basically out of the race after losing all their four games so far.

The Men pair’s team have won two and lost two games and remains in contention while Litia Tikoiuva managed to win three of her singles matches so far and losing two.
