The Fiji Men’s Hockey side will only be given a two weeks rest before the team marches into camp to prepare for a test series against the Australian Masters.

After a disappointing performance in the World Hockey League in India the team will now prepare for the Oceania Cup which is also an Olympic qualifier.

Coach Hector Smith said they have gained a lot of exposure and experience by playing against some of the top teams in India but there is still room for improvement.

Smith adds they are expecting some changes to the team that will take on the Australian Masters.

Meanwhile the Fiji Women=s and Men=s Hockey team will arrive in the country this Friday.

The Oceania Cup is schedule for October in New Zealand.
