The Fiji men's hockey side is expected to face stiff competition from the Australian country team when they meet today in the Federation of International Hockey League and Oceania Pacific Cup.
Fiji has won both their matches so far and will take on the Australians at 2pm today.
Coach Hector Smith said his players played their hearts out against the New Zealand Maori yesterday.
Meanwhile, the New Zealand Maori women's team thrashed Vanuatu 16-0 this morning while their men's side is currently leading Papua New Guinea 4-1.
